ITvacancies.com is committed to providing an accessible and easy to use website for users with disabilities. Due to the nature of website access, some difficulties may still occur and so ITvacancies.com has the following facilities :

Access Keys

Keyboard access is provided for users who are not able to use a mouse of touchpad. The keyboard shortcuts are:

Press and hold down the 'alt' key then press the required letter (see below for list of letters)
If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer, release both keys and press the return key.

The list of custom short cut keys to be used to navigate ITvacancies.com are :

Alt key and h = Home page
Alt key and s = Job search page
Alt key and l = Job listing page
Alt key and a = Accessibility help page

Most common internet browsers such as Internet Explorer also allow you to use the Tab key to move through the interactive elements of a page (e.g. the hyperlinks).

Text Size

The size of the text can be changed in your web browser settings.

If you are using Internet Explorer then follow these steps:

In the menu at the top of your browser click 'View', or press 'Alt' and then 'V'
Select 'Text Size' or press 'X' on your keyboard
Select either 'larger' or 'smaller' depending on your requirements, or use the arrow keys to scroll up and down

If you are using Netscape then follow the steps below. Alternatively press 'Control' and '+' keys for larger font size, or 'Control' and '-' for smaller fonts.

In the menu at the top of your browser, click 'View'
Click 'Increase Font' or 'Decrease Font'
Repeat this until the text is the size you require

Applying for jobs:

Jobseekers using access software may have difficulty with our CV upload procedure. If this is the case, and you wish to apply for a job, ITvacancies.com recommends you email the advertiser directly using your own preferred email program. You will find the company's email address by clicking on the 'view employer contact details' link which appears on the bottom of the job details page. You will need to have JavaScript enabled as it will open a new window which will show any additional contact information that the advertiser has provided, such as telephone, fax etc. In some cases the employer has requested applications are made directly through their website, in these instances you will not see the 'view employer contact details' link on the job details page but hitting the 'apply now' button will take you directly to their website.
